MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the fourth time this season, junior forward has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday afternoon. Fankam Mendjiadeu helped lead Memphis to a 1-1 week highlighted by a road victory at Wichita State on Wednesday.
Fankam Mendjiadeu posted back-to-back double-doubles last week, increasing her season total to 11. She led Memphis in the road victory at Wichita State with 19 points and 12 rebounds before scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 rebounds in the Tigers' home game against ECU on Saturday. The 11 double-doubles rank second in the AAC this season behind Temple's Mia Davis.
