MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis football wide receiver Koby Drake, a redshirt freshman majoring in mechanical engineering, has been named a Military Bowl 3M STEM Scholar-Athlete.
Drake, a White Hall, Ark, native, has been named to the Tiger 3.0 Club and Dean's List, as well as the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. His dream job is to work for an aerospace company designing aircraft.
"Koby is an amazing student and has balanced the rigorous coursework of mechanical engineering while being a student-athlete very well," said Lauren Hillman, Memphis Director of Player Relations.
