NASHVILLE, Tenn. – University of Memphis junior and freshman Calvin Austin posted two of the Tigers' five top-10 performances in the men's 200 meters in Friday action at Vanderbilt's Music City Challenge.
DeMoss placed third in a time of 21.31, and Austin was fourth at 21.49. It was Austin's first 200-meter performance of his young career.
Others on the men's side with top-10 finishes were sophomore fifth in the pole vault (6-4; 1.93m) and graduate student 10 in the weight throw (59-3.5; 18.07m).
Junior had the only top-10 finish for the Tigers women's team.
