MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis sophomore has earned a pair of accolades from the website College Sports Madness.
The 2015-16 American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year was named a preseason Fourth Team All-American, in addition to the preseason American Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
Lawson averaged a team-best 15.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game last season, while blocking 55 shots and adding 39 steals. He finished in the top two on the team in four categories (points, rebounds, blocked shots, and steals), and finished third on the team with 84 assists.
