TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – University of Memphis' posted a top-50 performance and helped lead the Tigers men's squad to a 15-place finish at the 2018 NCAA South Region Championships Friday.
The men's 10k and women's 6k regional races were held at the Apalachee Regional Park, also the site of the NCAA South Region Championships in 2012, 2014 and 2016.
The 15-place finish was the Tigers' highest since 2012 when Memphis placed ninth.
Since the NCAA went to a regional format in 1998, Kamph is only the Memphis third runner to record a top-50 finish at the NCAA South Region Championships.
