MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Junior starting pitcher Drew Crosby was named the to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after earning his first career win against Tennessee.
Crosby pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run and striking out six batters. The Southaven, Miss. product, allowed a solo home run in the first inning and nothing else the rest of the way.
After the first inning Crosby was dominant, retiring 14 straight batters at one point before finishing off the sixth inning.
Crosby finished last season by making his first career start in the American Athletic Conference Tournament against UConn.
