Criticos, who had come within a couple of feet of the school record earlier this outdoor season, surpassed the previous school mark by nearly three feet with his first-place throw of 233-5 (71.16m). Criticos' mark bested the previous record of 230-6 (70.27m) set by in 2012.
Criticos' 233-5 mark ranks him among the nation's top-25 in the javelin this season.
