MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis redshirt sophomore wide receiver Damonte Coxie has been added to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Wednesday.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the outstanding FBS receiver in college football. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award.
Coxie, in his first season as a starter, has produced 42 catches, 663 yards and five touchdowns in eight games. He leads the Tigers in all receiving statistical categories this season. Coxie has three 100-yard receiving games and has multiple catches in each game this season.
