ROCHESTER, N.Y. - On Monday, May 15, University of Memphis rising sophomore Colin Dubnik advanced to the qualifying round of the USGA U.S. Open.
Dubnik tied for second in a field of 78 golfers to advance to the qualifying round for the 2017 U.S. Open. Dubnik shot a round of 76 (+5) at Oak Hill Country Club in Mendon, New York.
The qualifier will be held at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, New Jersey, on June 5. The qualifying site is one of 12 in the country, and competitors will play 36 holes on June 5 for a chance of a place in the 2017 U.
