MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Redshirt senior has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after scoring the game-tying goal against USF last Saturday afternoon. This is the first time in his career that he has been recognized by the AAC.
Down 1-0 to the Bulls, Blankenship finished off a cross from to find the back of the net in the 40 minute of Saturday's match. The goal proved to be the final score of the contest as the match ended in a double overtime tie.
Blankenship is one of three players with two goals this season for the Tigers.
