MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Brittany Carter-Carswell, one of Tigers women's basketball all-time greats, makes her return to the program as a graduate assistant, head coach Melissa McFerrin announced Monday.
Carter-Carswell, who graduated in December of 2010 with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a criminal justice emphasis, is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies. In her graduate assistant role, Carter-Carswell's primary responsibilities are to assist with team travel and training table, equipment inventory and community service projects.
"Brittany is the type of individual you want around the program, a high quality and high character person," said McFerrin, who is in her eighth season at Memphis in 2015-16.
