MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Coming off a hot weekend in the Tiger Classic, Memphis welcomed the Bulldogs of Mississippi State to town. Early homeruns would threaten the Tigers early as they faced the 13-3 (5) loss.
Following today's game, Memphis moves to 12-18 overall.

- The Bulldogs opened the game with six runs scored in the top of the first inning off homeruns from Faapito and Purvis.
- Gracie Morton put Memphis on the board in the bottom half of the first inning off a solo homerun to cut their deficit to 6-1.
