MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Despite home runs from both Pre-Season All-AAC players in the starting lineup, the Memphis Tigers dropped both ends of Friday's doubleheader to the Tulane Green Wave. Hunter Goodman picked up his team-leading 11th home run in a 13-2 game one loss, while Ben Brooks notched his fifth home run of the season in a 4-2 game two defeat.
In the first half of the twin-bill, Blake Wimberley (L, 2-6) worked around two baserunners in the opening frame for the Tigers and kept the game scoreless before the Green Wave offense sent nine men to the plate in a three-run third inning.
