MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The list of weekly accolades continues to grow for redshirt junior quarterback as he has been named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Offensive Player of the Week.
In addition to his TSWA accolade and for the third time this season, White has been named one of the Davey O'Brien Foundation Great 8 quarterbacks as well as one of the Manning Award Stars of the Week.
White accounted for a career-high six touchdowns (five passing, one rushing) and threw for 341 yards in Memphis' 45-27 come from behind victory at Houston last Saturday.
