MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A pair of Memphis women's soccer student-athletes garnered AAC Weekly Honor Roll accolades Monday in the league's first Weekly Awards release of the season.
Junior Tanya Boychuk and freshman Grace Stordy both earned their first career Honor Roll honors after helping No. 22 Memphis to a 3-0 win against UAB in its season opener on Feb. 4.
Boychuk pitched in on the Tigers' offensive surge by assisting on the opening score, which proved to be the game-winning goal. The junior then set the 3-0 final later in the match with her goal in the 48th minute.
