PROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Memphis senior has been to the American Athletic Conference volleyball Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday. It is Bivins' first conference accolade of her career.
It is the third time this season the 6-foot outside hitter has been recognized for her play on the court. Earlier this campaign, Bivins was named to the all-tournament teams at the UT Martin Skyhawk and Tiger invitationals.
Last weekend, Bivins helped Memphis to a 1-1 record with a 3-1 setback to Cincinnati and a thrilling, come-from-behind 3-2 win over ECU. Both matches were played at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
