Junior Brad Bawden shot a 54-hole total of 204 (-12) and finished third at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in Vero Beach, Fla. Monday and Tuesday. The Memphis men's golf team finished the event tied for ninth with Louisiana Monroe, while USF took home the team title.
Bawden, a native of Hockley, England, followed an opening round 68 with a 66 in the second round and finished with a 70 on Tuesday. The top-20 finish is Bawden's third of the season and his first top-10 finish this season.
Chase Harris shot a first-round 72 and finished with a 69 in both the second and third rounds to finish tied for 15th.
