MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis has postponed Friday's Opening Day baseball game against Western Kentucky at FedExPark due to heavy rain in the MidSouth region. The Tigers and Hilltoppers will now attempt to play the three-game series between Saturday and Sunday.
The celebration of the late Stan Bronson Jr. will still take place as scheduled on Friday at 1 p.m. at the indoor turf field in the Billy J. Murphy Athletic Complex on the Park Avenue Campus.
Game times on Saturday and Sunday are still yet to be determined.
