MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The new-look University of Memphis baseball team is back on the field for the start of fall camp with excitement levels high. A new core group of players is in place after the departures of six seniors and two juniors who were selected in this year's MLB Draft.
At the start of the fall semester, the Tigers got back to work with strength and conditioning coach Joe Collins to get physically prepared for the 2017 season. With fall baseball starting this week the team will get to focus more on baseball for the next six-plus weeks, culminating with the annual Garibaldi's Series in November.
