MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Athletics Communications staff received two national awards for its publications and digital designs in 2017-18, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) organization announced Friday.
This year's two honors bring the department's total number of CoSIDA awards to 35 over the last decade (since 2008-09).
"I'm excited for our staff to earn recognition from CoSIDA for some of our work this past season," said Assistant Athletics Director for Communications Tammy DeGroff. "We have tried to take advantage of both traditional and new media assets in telling the stories of our student-athletes.
