MEMPHIS – Senior defensive back has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2017 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in California, Saturday, Jan. 21. This is the fourth straight season the Tigers have had a graduating senior offered a playing opportunity in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. In 2013, Lonnie Ballentine, Johnnie Farms and Tom Hornsey were invited to the event. In 2014, offensive tackle Al Bond was invited, and last year, offensive lineman Ryan Mack participated in the event on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills. The Jan. 21 game will be broadcast by Fox Sports on FS1 at 3 p.
