MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Senior wide receiver Antonio Gibson was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation offensive player of the week Sunday. Gibson was selected for the honor after setting a conference and school record with 386 all-purpose yards in a 54-48 win over #15/14 SMU.
Gibson is the second Tiger to earn the Walter Camp National Player of the Week offensive honor. Quarterback Riley Ferguson also received it on Sept. 17, 2017.
Saturday night, Gibson became the first Tiger since 2008 to score a touchdown three different ways (rushing, receiving, kickoff return).
