MEMPHIS – University of Memphis head coach Mike Norvell has filled an assistant coach opening on his staff with the hire of native Memphian Anthony Jones, Jr., it was announced Thursday.
"I'm extremely excited about the addition of Anthony Jones to our Memphis Tiger football family," Norvell said. "I believe he is the perfect fit for our staff and players while bringing incredible relationships within the city of Memphis and in western Tennessee to our program."
Jones, who has spent the five seasons as the head football coach at Cordova High School, is no stranger to Memphis.
