PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For sixth consecutive week, University of Memphis senior point guard is being recognized by the American Athletic Conference. On Monday, Martin was named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll.
Martin scored 20 points and added six rebounds and six assists to lead the Tigers to a regular-season ending 66-63 victory Saturday over Tulsa at FedExForum. He has been either a member of the Weekly Honor Roll (Feb. 4, 11, 18, March 4, 11) or Player of the Week (Feb. 25) each of the past six weeks.
Martin is ranked 11 on the school's career-scoring list and moved closer to entering the Top 10 on Saturday.
