PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference football game between Memphis and UCF, originally scheduled for this Saturday, has been rescheduled to Friday, September 8, at Spectrum Field in Orlando, Florida.
The schedule change was made in response to the projected track of Hurricane Irma.
"With Hurricane Irma projected to make landfall in Florida as a category five storm, we have worked with the UCF administration and the American Athletic Conference, and have agreed to move the game to Friday at 6:30 p.m. (ET)/5:30 p.m. (CT)," said Director of Athletics Tom Bowen.
