MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tigers flexed their muscles today as they secured their ticket to the semi-final round of the AAC Championship after a 2-0 win over the Knights of UCF.
After today's game, Memphis moves to 12-4-1 for the season.
KEY MOMENTS
- Memphis challenged the Knights on both ends of the field from the start with 10 shots recorded in the opening 45 minutes of play while the Tiger's defense held UCF to no offense.
- Jocelyn Alonzo put the team on her back in the 56' when she netted her fifth goal of the season to put the Tigers up 1-0.
