MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Athletic Department will celebrate the 901Women initiative and the last 50 years of accomplishments in its women's programs on Jan. 27 and 28.
The public is invited to attend a 901Women Leadership Panel and Reception presented by Simmons Bank on Friday, Jan. 27 from 6-8 p.m. in the Maxine A. Smith University Center Theatre. Mary Ellen Pethel, author of Title IX, Pat Summitt, and Tennessee's Trailblazers, will moderate a panel of women who have helped to pave the way for women's athletics.
