The Memphis Grizzlies pushed the Golden State Warriors for three quarters, but the defending champions were able to pull away and win 100-84 on Wednesday evening at FedExForum.
Memphis fell to 3-6, dropping their fourth straight game, while the Warriors moved to 9-0, continuing their undefeated streak.
Marc Gasol led the way for the Grizzlies as he dropped in 26 points, tying Zach Randolph for the team high this season. He finished 13-of-14 at the free throw line, making it two consecutive games in which he’s attempted 12 or more at the line, which is the first time he’s done so in his career.
