MEMPHIS – Some things just won’t add up during the preseason for the Grizzlies. That’s the simple, sobering reality when starters Mike Conley and Tony Allen are sitting out of games to rest training camp ailments, when Marc Gasol is intentionally limited to action only in the first half and when playing Chandler Parsons likely isn’t even a possibility until at least the start of the regular season.
