MEMPHIS – There are plenty of entertaining shows rolling through FedExForum this spring, but none might be more intriguing than the New York Knicks circus scheduled to hit town in two months. The Knicks have a mess on their hands right now. Much of it is self-inflicted. And many would argue it’s been this way for quite some time. But what’s transpiring at Madison Square Garden these days is something closer to outright chaos. The passive-aggressive Cold War between resident star Carmelo Anthony and team president Phil Jackson was unfortunately upstaged by Wednesday night’s aggressive-aggressive courtside squabble between retired Knicks’ legend Charles Oakley and security officers reportedly intervening on behalf of team owner James Dolan.
