Though Toney Douglas has joined the Grizzlies roster due to Memphis’ injury exception, Coach David Fizdale is not straying away from the Nasty Nine. Since Mike Conley’s injury, Troy Daniels and company have proven that this Memphis team is not going anywhere.
Last night, they traveled to New Orleans to take on a Pelicans team in a similar situation. The Pels were without Jrue Holiday, E’Twaun Moore and Dante Cunningham last night, leaving the weight of the game on the shoulders of Anthony Davis and rookie Buddy Hield.
