The Memphis Grizzlies (3-3) fell to .500 after a 99-88 loss to the L.A. Clippers on Friday night despite a career night for Mike Conley
The Good
The Grizzlies, although they played poorly most of the game, managed to cut a 21-point deficit to single digits late in the fourth quarter. The team showed resilience and were a couple baskets short of completing the comeback.
Mike Conley came to play. He dropped a personal record 7 3-pointers as part of his 30-point scoring outburst. His play matched Chris Paul throughout the whole competition.
The Bad
Speaking of Chris Paul, the Clippers point guard had six steals which were only a fraction of the Memphis Grizzlies’ 18 turnovers.
