Jonas Valanciunas set his career high in scoring with a game-winning free throw with 0.1 seconds left to help the Memphis Grizzlies stave off the Houston Rockets, 126-125, in overtime on Wednesday night at FedExForum. The Grizzlies improved to 29-42 on the season and 19-17 at home. The Rockets dropped to 45-27 on the year and are now 19-17 on the road.
Valanciunas finished with a career-best 33 points to go with a season-high 15 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season. Mike Conley led Memphis with 35 points and a team-high eight assists, tying a career high with his sixth straight game with at least 20 points.
