The Memphis Grizzlies managed to let yet another close game slip away. The Spurs opened up a 12-4 advantage on a quick 8-0 run. However, the Grizz battled back to carry a 35-33 lead at the half. Both defenses dominated the half. Mike Conley led both teams with 13 points at the the intermission.
Spurs came out with a Kawhi Leonard-led flurry (32 points and 12 rebounds). San Antonio led 60-51 going into the 4th quarter.
With under four minutes left in the fourth quarter, Mike Conley had to leave the game covered in blood, after bumping heads with Kawhi.
