Last season, many people expected Wade Baldwin to take over the Memphis Grizzlies’ backup point guard spot. The 2016 first-round pick had the athleticism and shooting – at least that’s what his college numbers said – to contribute immediately. However, it wasn’t the case. After a strong debut, he found himself out of the rotation and in the D-League. It definitely wasn’t a scenario many Grizz fans expected.
Now, he’s out to prove his worth in the Summer League. During this time, Baldwin will be given the keys and a long leash to show that he can lead and orchestrate a winning offense.
