It’s that time of year again. Flowers blooming. Birds chirping. Woj bombs booming.
The past few seasons, the Memphis Grizzlies’ offseason has been kind of predictable. They’ll re-sign a core guy while obtaining a guy that could – but probably wouldn’t – get them over the hump:
- 2013, they brought back Tony Allen while signing former Grizz Mike Miller.
- 2014, they re-signed Zach Randolph and acquired future Hall-of-Famer Vince Carter.
- 2015, they maxed out Marc Gasol and traded for rugged defender Matt Barnes.
- Last summer, the Grizzlies loaded up a FedEx truck of cash for Mike Conley and Chandler Parsons.
