“Periodically, once a week, a coach for a team says ‘We’re just bad right now.’ Well, I’m saying that it’s my turn. We’re just bad right now.” Coach Fizdale said it perfectly in the post-game press conference. The Memphis Grizzlies have now lost five games in a row, four by double-digits.
The scapegoats are out. Fans are pointing fingers at Coach Fizdale, Chandler Parsons and Andrew Harrison – the typical scapegoats. Memphis, right now, is full of Chicken Little’s as their sky is falling.
But, what are the real elephants in the room? Is it poor defense?
