The Memphis Grizzlies’ roster is back at 20 players after the team announced the signing of forward Vince Hunter, 22, Sunday afternoon.
Hunter, a University of Texas-El Paso alumnus, played two years with the Miners, averaging 13.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 1.5 assists per game with a .566 true shooting percentage.
After leaving UTEP, Hunter spent time overseas with Panathinaikos in Greece and locally with the Reno Bighorns in the NBA-Developmental League. Most recently, Hunter was on the Chicago Bulls’ roster. He has been a free agent since being waived on Oct.
