If anyone predicted Vince Carter to be the best wing for the Memphis Grizzlies this season, they’re either lying or going with me to purchase lottery tickets.

The 40-year old Vince Carter averaged eight points on 37.8 percent shooting from downtown and 3.1 rebounds. In the playoffs, he scored 10.2 points per game, grabbed 3.7 rebounds and shot 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Carter easily had his best season as a Grizzly, and he has no plans to retire anytime soon – despite the old man stereotypes. At the exit interviews, he proclaimed two things.
