Jaren Jackson Jr. showed off his superstar potential during his rookie season with the Memphis Grizzlies. Some people questioned them when he was their 4th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, but the initial returns have been fantastic.
His fantastic season has helped the Grizzlies move on from Marc Gasol and has them in a spot that they’re comfortable moving on from Mike Conley as well if they get good value in a trade back. They’re ready to give Jackson the keys to the franchise.
He had a good rookie season, but he was limited to just 58 games due to injury, but that isn’t expected to be a concern at all going forward into next season.
