Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins today announced his Coach Jenkins’s Assists for Education program for the 2019-20 season. Through the program, Jenkins has pledged to donate $10 per Grizzlies assist throughout the 2019-20 regular season to provide educational support for students in Shelby County Schools.
“When I moved here to Memphis this summer and learned about this great city, I started to realize there was a huge need for our students and teachers in our school systems,” said Jenkins. “Education has been a passion of mine my entire life. I see this as a great opportunity to give back to our students and teachers for all of the needs that they have.
