Year after year, there’s always common narratives for the Most Improved Player award:
- A player makes the leap from really good player to star player.
- Someone takes their game from solid player to borderline All-Star.
- A young guy raises his game to show the potential to be a future cornerstone.
If you take a look, the Memphis Grizzlies might have a candidate: Mike Conley.
Though many will look at his contract and say that he should play at that level, Conley raised his game and drew All-Star consideration.
For the first time ever, he eclipsed the 20-point scoring average mark.
