The Memphis Grizzlies haven't had much to be excited about in their preseason so far, as injuries have impacted their ability to view their lineups as a whole. However, due to injuries and resting veterans during their second preseason game, young players like Jaylen Wells have been thrust into more responsibility with good results.
After starting his first game against the Pistons, making his first two threes, Wells went on a cold streak, which ended with him only making one of his final eight field goal attempts to finish 3-10. While he showed growth in the playmaking department with three assists, he also had three turnovers.
