A 4-10 record stares at the Memphis Grizzlies following their loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on November 15th. The team received promising news before tipoff as starting center Zach Edey was set to make his season debut after missing the first 13 games due to offseason ankle surgery.
With that came a switch to what figured to be the Grizzlies' likely starting lineup going forward, with rookie wing Cedric Coward making his first start along with Edey, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Jaylen Wells. However, Ja Morant left the game midway through the first quarter with a calf injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
