Grizzlies slip to Lakers; prepare for Clippers on Wednesday

The Memphis Grizzlies fell on the first night of an away back-to-back to the Los Angeles Lakers 116-102 Tuesday at STAPLES Center.

The Lakers outscored the Grizzlies from three-point range, shooting 17-of-33 (.515) to Memphis’ 10-of-31 (.323).

Marc Gasol and Mike Conley combined for 43 points. Posting 10 points in the first quarter, Gasol led the Grizzlies with 22 points, seven assists and six rebounds while Conley contributed 21 points and four assists in 32 minutes. Vince Carter (12 points), Zach Randolph (11 points) and Andrew Harrison (10 points) also scored in double figures.
