Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies tonight announced that the team selected Murray State University guard Ja Morant (Jah mo-RANT) with the second overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft.
The Grizzlies will introduce Morant at a press conference at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 21 in the Grand Lobby of FedExForum. The press conference will be streamed live on Grizzlies.com, through the Memphis Grizzlies mobile app and broadcasted live on FOX Sports Southeast. The event will be open to the public with free parking available in the Gossett Motors Parking Garage. Fans are encouraged to tune into Grizzlies.
