Grizzlies outshoot Wizards in OT thriller

In a back-and-forth game featuring 16 lead changes and a 15 point Grizzlies lead in the second quarter, the Grizzlies got the last laugh with a 112-103 overtime win over the Washington Wizards Sunday at FedExForum.

Facing a 95-88 deficit with 3:17 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies went on a 24-7 run to end the game and outscored the Wizards 12-3 in overtime. Washington didn’t score in overtime until a Marcus Thornton three-pointer with 17.7 seconds left.

The Grizzlies improved to 2-1 after completing their first of 17 back-to-backs this season.

Marc Gasol posted a career-night from beyond the arc, knocking down 4-of-6 three-point attempts.
