Wrapping up their six-game road trip on a high note, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 107-99 at Target Center Saturday night. The Grizzlies advanced to 10-3 on the second night of a back to back and concluded the road trip with a 4-2 record.
The trip marked the best in franchise history for a road trip of five-or-more games. The Grizzlies had never posted a .500 record on such a road trip until now.
Memphis struggled offensively at the start of the game without three of their starters (Marc Gasol, Tony Allen, Chandler Parsons) due to a planned recovery day.
