Grizzlies get burned in Houston, 108-123

The Memphis Grizzlies lost the second game of a back-to-back, 123-108, to the Houston Rockets Saturday at Toyota Center. The teams tied the regular season series 2-2. Memphis is now 10-4 in the second game of a back-to-back this season.

Memphis kept the game within reach during the first half with neither team leading by more than eight. However, in the third quarter the Rockets caught fire, shooting 12-of-17 (.706) from the field and 7-of-12 (.583) from three-point range en route to a 38-point third quarter that stretched the lead to 15.

Mike Conley (23 points, seven assists, six rebounds) recorded his 25th game with 20-or-more points to lead the Grizzlies.
