The Grizzlies had their six-game win streak snapped at the hands of the Miami Heat, losing 90-81 Friday night at FedExForum. It also snapped a five-game home winning streak against Miami.
The Heat led the entire game, holding off several small Memphis attempts at a comeback. After the Grizzlies pulled within seven with 4:42 remaining in the third quarter, the Heat went on a quick 7-0 run to extend their lead to 65-51, its largest of the game to that point.
Miami owned the points off turnovers category, outscoring the Grizzlies 23-2, and forced Memphis into twice the number of turnovers (18-9).
